My whole life, I’ve been on this never-ending search for meaning.
Why are we here? Why is life so unfair? Why are we doomed to suffer, to get attached to things that eventually disappear, to try and hope, only to decay and die?
Why is it such a struggle to get by? To resist the temptation to idle and despair? Why are the things that make us feel the most complete the hardest things to do?
I’ve thought about all the possibilities that are out there, but there’s always been one that I’ve reflexively rejected: original sin.
Was the Bible actually right this whole time?
