We rarely notice change when it happens slowly. It just slowly creeps up on us until all of a sudden—BAM! “Has it really been a year since I’ve last spoken to that person?” Or, “Wow, I’ve actually gotten a lot better at [insert job/hobby/skill here] since I started.”
While it can sometimes be jarring, slow change isn’t the type that scares us. It’s the sudden stuff—the monumental shifts that change our reality in an instant.
