"He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
The commonality of the rush in human hearts at the edge of an ocean, the foot of a mountain, or the night-time bottom of the vast bowl of stars forced theologians to come up with a name for the sense of awe. The name “General Revelation” may sound mundane but it still stirs the soul.
Beautiful Melissa! I'm glad you and John get to enjoy real nature and I appreciate how you got to the Essence of it in your article. My son moved to CT likely close to the other side of the Sound in your wonderful photo. Water is the Freest Element and the one the Monsters in charge have the hardest time controlling, hence the tides.
Great piece, Melissa!
Thanks!! 😃
