Going good Melissa! Not sure if you're going to need Aios Roe as a Deus machinam despiciens (Nor as a deus ex machina.) in your final draft but he's obviously a useful muse in the chapter writings so far.
Thanks, Jim! You'll be seeing a lot more of Aios in later chapters (although I guess he is just kind of just looming in the background here, hence "Deus machinam despiciens"). What I'm getting from this is that if there's anything to change, it's adding more of him in this part of the book! Glad you're enjoying so far.
