Wow! I’d never heard of this—what a rabbit hole. I’m surprised that this was spearheaded by “beat writers” (a movement I’ve mostly ignored—I’ll definitely be looking more into them).

Crazy that light can have this effect on us, inducing peace-like trances, or, on the other side of the spectrum, seizures.

The Beats were very experimental, interesting and wild characters. The tech has come a long way since then, I have a little audio visual synthesizer that flashes multicoloured light patterns synchronized to binaural beats. It is pretty wild to sit back and meditate while coloured lights and rhythmic sounds put you in an altered state.

When I bought it the unit was only a couple hundred dollars, now they are triple that for some reason: https://www.mindplace.com.au/p/procyon-light-and-sound-mind-machine-avs

Wow, that sounds awesome! That price is pretty steep, but I’d love to experience it one day.

Your beautifully crafted story warmed my imagination, but like a reverie, it's sweet moment of serenity left me waiting more. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Beautiful Melissa! Fire is one of the 4 Elements which are Divine Beings trapped here a long time ago but have all been Symbolically Released and shortly will return to their True Home. You seem to have a deep understanding of things.

That’s interesting! If you don’t mind me asking, where is this idea from? Kind of reminds me of the myth of Prometheus.
