The Curse to me is in your description of the NPC. The majority of people do not care. walking around and living totally unconscious. Self centered, and no respect or consideration for life outside their own.

Totally agree. But is it a curse on them or us?

it's a curse on us, by our own doing. Are there truly NPC's? and if there are what does that mean? Are we in a simulated world? Are we in a construct? Are we all playing a part on the Stage show called life? When we see people who act in a way that makes us think they have NO regard for life, does it wake us up to our OWN Part in this show? Does it prompt us to take action to better things? Or do we act like the NPC, ignoring a situation that was brought to our attention? What are we really here for in this Show we call life? Are we trapped into this roll we play, are we here in this construct against our will? Did we come into this game with a purpose? are NPC's actually non players, or do they serve the purpose of keeping us on our path? on purpose?

The other part is, how serious should we take our Script in this life? How serious do we take the Character we are playing? Do we have a choice, do we have free will... Your question brings up so many things.

Interesting ideas. We’ll never know the answer. Perhaps some people aren’t really there while others are—like mindless zombies fulfilling their role to keep the whole thing spinning. Or maybe they’re just close minded people who’ve lost themselves somewhere, so far gone now that they don’t feel the need to help or be kind to others around them.

Either way it’s important for us to live as meaningful a life as possible, trying to share that same opportunity with as many people as we can in whatever way we know how. I think that’s what we were put here for. Some write, others paint. Some provide for their family, others work on things. Those are the ones who live a life worth living, a life that touches another and brings the light out of someone who had none. We can only hope for those who live without purpose to wake up one day and find that light again, and maybe we can help them do just that.

I agree, That no matter what is the truth about this reality, When we make an effort to lead a life worth living we override the curse. We take some power in our own ability to use our creative force and make a difference, for others which always comes back to self, and wholeness.

Taking that into consideration, when you say “When we make an effort to lead a life worth living we override the curse.”, it leads me to another thought. Maybe that’s what this is all for. Sometimes I think that life is about learning experiences. In order to reach “enlightenment” you would need to know that you aren’t where you want to be. Suddenly you make a decision to learn and grow and change until you’ve reached a place where you can reach your own “enlightenment.” This wouldn’t have been possible without being here in the “cursed” reality in the first place. We take what we learn and share it, hoping others can use it if they choose to. I used to wallow over every mistake and waste of time I’ve done in the past, angrily thinking back on the wasted years. But if I didn’t make those decisions I wouldn’t be typing this right now. Maybe I needed that to happen before I could reach that next level of understanding.

Am I repetitive right now? Or crazy? Or hopefully delusional? Maybe. And maybe we are just cursed to live out this life. Either way, I like to hope for the other option lol.

The concept of "Here to Learn Lessons" has been something I've spent a great deal of time contemplating. I usually adamantly disagree with it and here's why. Who are we that we needed to learn lessons? Needing to learn lessons would mean that we are not Perfect spiritual beings, but ignorant beings, needing to reach enlightenment means we are less then that already, Although so many spiritual teachers say we are these enlightened beings, but we forgot. Why do some people need to go through such torture and trauma to learn something? Why have these "lessons" involving such destruction and horror seem to be never ending in the history of humanity?

And were are we that "we came here?" Where did we come from?

I do think as you say that life is a learning experience. This view would go along with the idea that we are not originally Material Beings, and are here to have a material experience. So we are learning to DREAM a material world and then we must realize that it is not permanent so we suffer if we attach to the material world. We also have to learn about cause and effect. What we create and the effects that are produced.

I can't comprehend why a baby would need to have the experience of being tortured, abused, to learn some lesson. Why humanity would need endless wars, or why we would be slaves to those that Govern our minds, and all of our freedom to explore in this reality. I find it insane that we are tormented by disease and illness, especially when we know that it is perpetrated on us.

I realize that these can all be obstacles and struggles placed so that we work through them and use our creativity to overcome them and create what we truly want. Its just that, these obstacles and struggles have become true trauma, and horror for so many, and that is where it gets very strange for me.

I think you are wise, to have all the considerations that you have. I think you are doing the right thing by asking the questions that you ask. The fact that you care to know is key! I am the same way. So many never ask.

I do see what you are saying, that our life follows along a path of cause and effect. experience can prepare us for a new one, or can help us down the path. We certainly are learning in sense.
